Multi-monitor support has been requested by many. This allows you to view the lab document on one monitor and enter commands in the command line interface (CLI on the other). We added Telnet mode to NetSim 8’s update. This means that NetSim 8 will now support multiple monitors in two different ways after the update.
To view the lab instructions in a separate monitor, click Lab Text > Launch External Seeker.
Configurations can be made on devices via Telnet sessions. Click Tools > Telnet Mode to access the menu.
These options will allow you to study for Cisco exams by using the labs included in NetSim 8. We are currently testing the update and will release the first NetSim 8 upgrade very soon. When the update is available, you should automatically receive a notification.
