The MCSE Productivity certification is generally for senior systems administrator, IT manager and systems administrator, as well as senior systems engineers.
MCSE: Productivity
The Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE: Productivity) certification confirms that learners have the skills to move organizations to cloud computing, increase user productivity, flexibility, reduce data loss, improve data security, and make data more secure. Like all expert-level certifications under Microsoft, the MCSE: Productivity certification allows learners to choose from a variety of exams to customize their certification.

Start training To earn the MCSE Productivity certification, learners must pass an additional exam after obtaining the prerequisite certification.

The MCSE Productivity certification was launched in 2016 to replace the MCSE Communication, MCSE SharePoint, and MCSE Messaging certifications. They were retired March 31, 2017.
Typically, experts-level certifications require that learners have at least three (3) years of experience with Microsoft products, especially Office 365 and Windows Server 2012 (or 2016).

Exam time: 2 hours (120 mins) per exam
Number of questions: 40-60* for each exam
Passing score: 700** per exam

Skills measured: Each exam registration page at the Microsoft website contains a list of Skills Measurable (free resource) that will guide you in your study and preparation.
*Microsoft doesn’t publish exact numbers of questions associated to its exams. The number of questions that a learner will see depends on the case.
**Because there are many questions, it is not necessary that learners earn a simple 70% to pass the exam.
